I’m a pre-SAG, pre-WGA actor, screenwriter, producer, and musician with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. I also work as the Director of Marketing and Social Media for WME Theatres, based in Arizona. I’ve written, directed, and scored independent films, produced multiple original albums with my band Gorky, and served as a leader in film and music policy advocacy in Oregon and Arizona.

I’m currently at work developing my David Lynch thesis film, “American Dreams,” which is a music-driven satire based on my experience fighting the Live Nation venue in Portland. I’m also the author of Keep Music Evil: The Brian Jonestown Massacre Story and a key architect of Arizona’s successful film tax incentive legislation.

I got my start as an actor opposite Tom Sizemore in Durant’s Never Closes, and later earned three MFA degrees in Screenwriting, Creative Writing, and Literature. I’m a graduate of the David Lynch MFA program. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with iconic artists, independent producers, and studio insiders, and continue to advocate for a creative economy that centers artists and regional storytelling. I bring a strange and rare mix of political savvy, artistic integrity, and real-world production strategy — with an emphasis on keeping costs down and creativity high.
